Dropouts are straight and show minimal wear and this fork is ready to mount and ride. The decals are reproductions and do have a few minor wrinkles near the tops of both legs. The steer tube is straight and this"bubbled" section does not seem to affect the maneuverability or stability of the fork. The forks have no re-welds, but there is a very small“bubble” on the left side of the steer tube approximately 10mm long. I tested an adjustable race and crown nut. The threads work perfectly fine but do show signs of use and one small“chipped” section near the top. There are the normal scuffs and scratches in the nickel that you would expect in a vintage item like this that is over 30+ years old. The base of the steer tube is stamped: TANGE MADE IN JAPAN 0K" indicating the forks were manufactured in November of 1980. more long from top to bottom and the steer tube is 5 ¼ inch long.
